Philadelphia artist and teacher, Nelson Shanks, portrait of President Bill Clinton can be seen in the newly renovated National Portrait Gallery writes Edward L. Sozanski, Art Critic at the Philadelphia Inquirer, in today's paper. Mr. Sozanski wrote an article several years ago discussing how the secret was out concerning Nelson Shank's work on President Clinton's portrait and now the painting can finally be seen. Nelson Shanks is one of the finest portrait painters in America today and is a treasure to the Philadelphia region. He has painted Pope John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, Lady Margaret Thatcher and a host of other prominent people. His paintings have been exhibited in museums throughout the USA.
