Nita Leland, best selling author of Exploring Color, has recently started publishing an art blog called "Exploring Color & Creativity".
She writes in an email "I've posted something new nearly every day for the past three weeks, from how to do suminagashi to mixing greens and neutrals. It has been fun to write about my recent workshop experience with Donna Zagotta in design and painting with gouache, plus some color theory ideas that have been rattling around in my head recently. It's great not to have to format web pages every time I want to share something."
Definitely add this blog to your watch list. As she mentions above, Ms. Leland posts her thoughts about a variety of topics mostly related to painting and color. I read through her posts and found very interesting information about paper, paint, workshops, color, etc. I especially enjoyed the posts discussing her favorite watercolor paper, her favorite brushes and her "ramblings" on a variety of topics.
You can also visit her web site at www.nitaleland.com to learn more about the artist, order her books or learn more about color and creativity.
